Adelaide Crows

Adelaide Crows AFL Logo & Guernsey

Formed in 1990 and based in Adelaide, the Crows first played AFL in 1991 and have appeared in 12 finals in their 25-year history.

They won the premiership in 1997 and 1998 back-to-back, beating St Kilda and North Melbourne respectively, making many fans donning the blue, yellow, and red colours very happy indeed. After that, the Crows had a series of finals runs in the 2000s but didn’t make it past the semis again.

Many people support the Adelaide Crows, including Australian tennis player Lleyton Hewitt and Aussie singer Guy Sebastian. The current coach of the Adelaide Crows is Don Pyke, who took over from Scott Camporeale who took on an interim role as coach after the tragic passing of Phil Walsh in 2015. The club banded together in the wake of this tragedy to continue their hard work and honour his memory and did an incredible job of making the semi-finals in 2016.
