In round three, the Magpie Army outdid itself by taking over our game-day Twitter coverage in the most creative way possible.
Match commentary came in the way of memes, GIFs and clever one-liners… and it was such a success, we’re doing it again!
Whether you’re in the stands or watching from home, be sure to use the #socialPIES alongside your thoughts on the play unfolding on the field. As was the case earlier in the season, there’ll be plenty of great prizes available for the best tweets throughout the game.
A key part of Social Sundays this time around is the presence of the #TwitterSquad. 15 diehard fans, plus their guests will be in prime position at the MCG on Sunday, filling a bay to represent Collingwood’s strong fan voice on Twitter.
Who else is in the #twittersquad on Sunday?? ⚫️⚪️?

These 15 were randomly selected on the social media platform during the week, and there were dozens of unlucky others who missed out. For all those that missed out? The #TwitterSquad won’t be a one-time thing, and a great way to secure your place next time around is staying active using the #socialPIES.
Above all else, Social Sundays gives us a chance to thank all the Magpie Army around the world for standing Side by Side with us. Keep your support coming when we take on the Crows on Sunday afternoon.
A little taste of Social Sundays… (round 3 vs St Kilda)
Is the Collingwood Twitter account set to auto-retweet anything with the #socialPIES tag? Remarkable amount of content coming through
