GPY&R Melbourne has picked up online wagering brand BetEasy following a competitive pitch.
BetEasy head of marketing Ed Owens said: “In the pitch process George Patterson Y&R proved themselves as the most creative and forward thinking agency.
“This is a very exciting time for our business, and we are really looking forward to working with the team at GPY&R.”
After BetEasy won the bid for sponsorship of the AFL in 2015, they brand decided that it was time for some creative innovation from an outside agency.
GPY&R managing partner Julian Bell said: “BetEasy represents a truly exciting proposition for us; they are a brand with serious ambitions both in terms of acquisition, category disruption and technology advancement. Last month BetEasy announced it had poaches Maxus MD Nick Keenan to be its commercial director.
